Maxcom Takes Leading Role at the Annual Conference of the Bulgarian Association of Supply (BAS)
On October 22, the annual conference of the Bulgarian Association of Supply (BAS) on modern supply trends took place, bringing together the sector's leaders in one place.

Maxcom played a key role in the event, which targeted supply chain management leaders, particularly in sectors such as industrial production, finance, IT, and fast-moving consumer goods. The presence of numerous experts in the field facilitated the exchange of experience, analysis of business development, and unveiling of effective strategies in supply chain management.

The organized lecture panel discussed a variety of issues of particular importance to the industry, including the application of artificial intelligence in supply chain management, the use of robotic transport systems, process digitization in the sector, new EU mechanisms and regulations, and sustainability.

Maxcom served as an excellent practical example on the topic of using AI. In a panel dedicated to this issue, Viktor Mitkov, the Production Executive Director of the company, spoke about an unprecedented investment in the bicycle industry, thanks to which a fully robotic painting workshop will be launched at Maxcom's production complex.

The bicycle manufacturer’s involvement did not end there, as Ralina Mitkova, Supply Manager, also participated in a presentation. She introduced attendees to the digitization of supply processes, using as an example a project developed by Konica Minolta for Maxcom. This project features an OCR solution for extracting data from order confirmations and reading critical attributes.

Beyond being a meeting point for professionals in the sector to share experiences and solutions to challenges, the conference also served as an information platform through which Maxcom demonstrated its process management approach and commitment to optimizing these processes, aligning with industry trends and, more specifically, those in the supply sector.
